This Privacy Policy explains how I handle information when you visit my website and use the free tools at /tools (the “Service”). The tools currently include video compression, image compression, image conversion, background removal, PDF merge/split/compression, images-to-PDF conversion, and QR-code generation.
The tools use browser capabilities and client-side libraries to perform conversions or generate results. Depending on the tool, processing may use browser APIs, JavaScript libraries, WebAssembly, or a model downloaded to your browser. Your selected file or entered tool content is processed on your device rather than sent to my application server for conversion.
For example, the background remover runs a model in the browser; the PDF tools process documents in the browser; and the QR-code generator draws a static code from the content you enter. A generated file or QR code may itself contain the information you supplied, so take care when sharing the result.
This description applies to the tools' current design. If a tool is changed to upload content to a server or send it to another service, I will update this Policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law before that processing begins.
When a browser loads a website, the hosting provider, content-delivery network, security layer, or other infrastructure involved in delivering the site may automatically process technical request information. Depending on the configuration, this can include:
This information is used by the relevant infrastructure to deliver the site, diagnose failures, maintain security, and prevent abuse. I do not use these technical requests to read the contents of files processed locally by a tool. The precise collection and retention of infrastructure logs depends on the providers and settings used to host the website.
If you email me or use a contact link, I may receive your email address, name (if provided), message, and any attachments you choose to send. I use that information to respond, handle your request, maintain relevant correspondence, and protect against misuse.
Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, private keys, or sensitive files unless they are genuinely necessary and you are authorised to share them.
I retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Email providers may process the message under their own privacy terms.
The tools do not require an account or a cookie in order to process a file locally. Your browser may temporarily keep website code, public model files, or other assets in its normal cache to make the site work faster. Browser storage and cookies, if used by the deployed website or its infrastructure, may support essential site functionality, security, preferences, or diagnostics.
I do not use the contents of files or QR-code inputs as analytics or advertising data. If I enable analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, this Policy will be updated to identify the relevant purposes and providers, and I will provide consent controls where required by applicable law.
Before publishing this Policy, the live website should be checked for any analytics or third-party scripts that may set cookies or collect identifiers.
The website relies on hosting, content delivery, security, and software dependencies to deliver the Service. A browser may request public code or model assets from the website or a configured asset host. These providers may process technical request data according to their own terms and privacy notices.
The website may also link to third-party websites. I do not control their content, security, cookies, or privacy practices. Review their policies before using them. The tools do not intentionally send your selected file contents to an external conversion provider.

I do not sell personal information. I do not use locally processed file contents for advertising or build profiles from the contents of those files.
Files and text handled by the current tools remain in your browser during processing; I do not retain copies of those inputs on my application server as part of the conversion workflow. Your browser may keep temporary working data or cached assets, which you can manage through your browser.
Infrastructure logs and correspondence may be retained for the periods configured by the relevant provider or reasonably needed for security, support, recordkeeping, and legal compliance.
I use reasonable measures appropriate to a small web service, but no website, browser, device, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Client-side processing reduces the need to transmit files to me; it does not protect a file from malware, unsafe browser extensions, a compromised device, or someone with access to your device. Keep your own original copy of important files.
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to raise an objection or complaint about its handling.
These rights apply to information I actually hold; I cannot retrieve or delete a file that never reached my systems, and I cannot clear your browser's local data for you.

The tools do not require an account and are not designed to collect personal information from children. Anyone using the Service should have the permission or supervision required by the law that applies to them.

The site may be delivered using infrastructure or service providers operating in countries other than your own. Their handling of technical data is subject to their arrangements and applicable law. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal data.
